Now im a baptist and believe in my great lord. but i say let them teach it and using that make your own decisions. Also everyone knows that evolution isn't the theory that we evolved from monkeys but that there is change in a species over time.

Evolution is false. There is no evolution so it shouldn't be taught to the children that bear the generations ahead. They should be taught in religious ways. One that shows the truth of life. The only truth is the God that has created everyone and everything in life.
I 100% agree with you confucius but you have got to get with the times, theyre already teaching it in schools!

I believe that, yes, evolution ahould be taught in schools? Why not? Science has proved microevolution, so why is macroevolution any different? I don't believe creationism should be taught, tho

As an educator myself, I definitely think that evolution should be taught in schools. Maybe if people actually paid attention class instead of PRANCING AROUND, NOT IN THEIR SEATS AND NOT PUSHING IN THEIR LAB STOOLS they would realize that evolution is not the theory that men are descendants of monkeys. Evolution shouldn't conflict with religion, because it doesn't explain where humans come from, just that organism are changing! All students have the right to expand their knowledge.

You're correct, Bill... evolution doesn't say that man came from monkeys! Did you pay attention in class? Wait... why are you standing up? Are you going to Malcolm X's desk? STOP IT! BILL CLINTON. MALCOM X. SIT DOWN!!!!!

I totally agree. Evolution shouldn't and doesn't conflict with religion. I'm a Christian, but I believe evolution should be taught in schools because I am not some kind of messiah telling everybody else what is and is not real. (And don't worry, I pushed in my lab stool).

Evolution is defined as the changes that occur in a given species over a period of time, not how the species first formed. Because of this, I strongly agree that Evolution should always be taught in schools. Students would benefit from the knowledge of Genetics and DNA Mutations, instead of simply wondering how evolution occurs.
I believe that evolution should be taught in all public school. Scientists can prove evolution, but most just do not feel religious safe with Darwin's theory. So we can teacher them what is evolution, but schools can choose to teach the theory about it. I believe would the best idea.

I agree with you MC Hamman, on that evolution and the theory of evolution are of two different matters.
