Personally, I believe they are both correct. Scientists have spent years studying and researching ob how the earth was created. Being religious though, I put the belief of God creating the earth over everything. It is difficult accepting both though. I may not believe in the Big Bang Theory, but I do believe in scientist discovers of fossils and other unbelievable discoveries.

I'm not too sure what religion I follow. I'm kinda here and there. Although, I'm pretty sure that it can't be started with Adam and Eve. It's just because they had kids, Cain and Abel, and then what? How did we get here after Cain and Abel? That's all I'm saying. From what I remember back in Hawaii, I think it's reptiles to mammals to primates to humans. I'm sorry if I made my fans mad :(

Across America, this is a sticky topic. I do believe though that the science is correct, and the religion is correct. I think that God created the universe top to bottom, but ialso believe in evolution and natural selection. God got the organisms to Earth, but natural selection took over from there. Peace out bretheren.

I believe that science and religion do go hand in hand. The science of the earth's formation gives evidence and theories backed up by more evidence and theories to come. However, as there always seems to be a loophole in all great conjectures, there must be something to fill the unexplainable parts that perhaps will never be explained. Thus religion plays a part to explain the very beginning of things, the miracles, and the ends. Both should be respected and understood equally for anything to be comprehended. If one were to base his ideology completely on science and evidence, they will find themselves forever hitting a dead end or a hole they can not patch. However if one were to only exist dependently on soul faith upon a god, they would never understand nor appreciate the science behind the things thier god created.

um....I believe in both science and religion. I don't believe science goes against....religion, but I do believe God created the earth. Um.....when the Earth was formed I believe science took over from there.Um...to conclude.....God created the Earth....and Science explains how the Earth evolved.
Of course the scienctific theory is correct. And being a Christian, I also believe that God created the Earth. If you really look at it, science and religion go hand in hand. The scientific aspect is backed up by hundreds of years of research. The religion part also has a lot of facts and years to back it up.
Well ya know I I think there both right in certain ways. I know that natural selection occurs, and that animals change in minor ways over time, that's proven. But then we get into all this humans evolved from monkeys nonsense. That when I gotta go with religion, cuz I know that MOSES! Did not cross the Red Sea, on the back of a PTERODACTYL! And the EARTH! was not made by some big EXPLOSION! unless the man upstairs made it happen! Hehehe I'm preechin' brother. So ... In conclusion ... I guess I believe both hehe. Tunechi loves ya!
One of my core beliefs that I went on for my entire life is that you can seperate religion and science. I was raised Christian and followed my religion even when i became a scientist. Yes I questioned God at some points in my life but I believe the world was created through science and reactions and ,maybe explosions, and behind all of it was God. He controlled all those processes. So in a sense I believe in both and no one can ever prove that one side has all the answers. I think we should learn to speak Chimp, I bet they would know about the creation of Earth -since they know EVERYTHING!

Of course I can accept both science and religion, I did learn about evolution and whatnot in school in Alaska, after all. But being a Christian woman, I do put my beliefs in God above my beliefs in the Big Bang or the String Theory or anything like that. Obviously, I'm not the biggest genius in the great country of America, so it's entirely possible that my putting faith in the abilities of God is wrong, but as is the fact that it's possible that scientists are wrong too! Who knows, right? But overall, I do think that science and religion can both be accepted, how else would we have a diversity of beliefs and minds in the USA? : - )

I feel like god created earth, but evolution and the formation of complex organisms happened on its own. I think there was some define intervention that made earth. Also, that god makes evolution happen. so i believe in both these statements.
I beleive that God made the earth. However, I beleive that evolution occurs by itself without the influence of God. Basicaly I believe that God made the world and everything else, but that evolution occurs because of the fact that God made the world in his image. I believe in both of these statements. Be right back mates I have to surrvive a dangerous world that God made himself.

I think that both are probably true. I won't say which one I believe in more because I don't want to offend anyone. Some people believe that a God or Gods created the Earth and some people believe in the Big Bang. That is okay! As far has how life was formed I believe in one thing, but I won't state it since some people believe differently. Whether they believe that we evovled from apes or that a God created us I will respect what they think.
Who cares how you evolved: like we are here and it is now. But..... we probably formed from a piece of wht? in the ocean. THe evidence points to me having distinct relations with monkeys, chimps, and whatnot.. Plus, the bones , the bones of humans are closely related to some creatures so there are supposed to be a relation there?

Considering i come from a religious background, i believe God is the reason for the formation of earth, life, and evoulution. I mean totally, i think the fossils and everything are amazing but i think they are just verification that there is a God that can do astonishing things. Like changing the looks of organisms and making the earth and the life. I don't think the Big Bang Theory is true because if an asteroid really did crash into earth, it could not have happened without the force of God. This is just my opinion, i hope i didnt offend anybody :)

As a Rastafarian, I believe all those same beliefs as most Christians and Jews as far as the Old Testament goes. I don't believe in all the sciencey stuff. Jah (God) created erryone and errythang. I don't know 'bout all dem complex organisms though, yo. Jah was probably just doin' whatever he felt was best for the world as far as their adaptations and all that shiz.
I believe first and foremost, that God created the universe. He created it to change in certain ways to end up how it is right now. Like how you are here in the 21st century instead of midevil times
It depends on the way you perceive religion. Some aspects of religion don't quite coincide with evolution. If you believe the bible is 100 percent true then evolution isn't a possibility. I believe evolution and religion can go hand in hand. God created the organisms and evolution took its course.

I personally think science and religion can coexist. I personally might not believe in all aspects of what the bible says about the birth of man, but hey, if you believe it, you believe it. We all have a right to believe what we want. My Little Monsters have the right to speak.
I believe you can believe in both, but to a certain extent. I believe that God created the Earth, life, and the complexity of life. It is hard and easy to intertwine the two. The origin of life and the formation of the Earth can be difficult to coexist with religion, but other subjects can. Evolution through the years can be seen, but I believe all these changes come from God.
it can make sense either way. The gods may have created humans and animals, but from then on nature took its course and made all organisms what they are today.

HEY BILLY MAYS HERE! I AM NOT SURE WHICH RELIGION I FOLLOW, I AM OFTEN QUESTIONING MYSELF IF THERE IS A GOD? BUT I ACCEPT BOTH SCIENCE AND RELIGION. I THINK I SEE MYSELF LEANING MORE TOWARDS SCIENCE OF EVOLUTION THOUGH.
Being a Christian I believe 85% in God and 15% in science. Science can prove evolution. But God made Earth and put life on it and then billions of years later we evolved. So i mostly believe in God but maybe in the future I guess that both science and religion can coexist but after all Im just a soccer player living life to the fullest!!!!
If you are like me, religion is science. My god created the laws of life and physics. I cannot deny that there is a god, but I cannot prove that there is a god. I would say science more so explains our world and our species.

So I can use both. The formation of earth? Religion. Origins of life? Religion. I believe that compromise is key in life and without it we will never get anywhere. People have no reason to have a violent debate about whether religion or science is correct because it is all about what you believe in. I personally believe in almighty God who created both life and the Earth.

I am able to agree with both science and Religion. There is many scientific evidence on how the Earth was formed and how life evolved, but there are many unknowns. There may be a God that is able to fill these holes, but that is hard to be proven too. Both ideas can back each other up because religion can fill the holes of science like nothing else on Earth can, for now at least.
It may be a combination of both. Scientists can tell us about the complexity of animals and how we have such a variety. They can not tell us exactly HOW they came to be. Neither can they tell us how the earth or moon formed; their theories are not very believable to me. The only good explanation for those two is divine intervention.

I can accept the teachings of both science and religion. I am a very religious person who believes in what the bible says. However I also had much help from scientist and science during the war and I feel that without that help we could have lost the war so science is something I also find true. I will generally pick a side on certain topics and I normally would pick the side with the most evidence to balck it's claim and if there is a split I would go with my gut feeling. So I would say that I am split between religion and science.
I can accept both . I am a christion when it comes to religion but I also trust science. I feel that science does not disprove christianity and christianity does not disprove science. I believe that they both prove what the other does not. I do believe that complex organism started from small organisms that evolved.
