I believe that the Earth was formed 4.6 billion years ago. Scientists these days really know their stuff, and the evidence backs it up with the whole Big Bang Theory but i also believe that God started the chain reaction!

Dear Diary,

 

               My mother told me a bed time story about how the Earth didn’t have humans, plants, or animals billions of years ago. Thank god they didn’t have Nazis… she was telling me how the Earth formed 4.6 billion years ago. That is quite a span of time! I would definitely support this statement because scientists have analyzed fossils in a way that can help us estimate the different layers of rock. The ways to date fossils include relative and radioactive methods. Radiometric dating has been used to determine the age of the Earth. The Earth was originally very violent and hot but eventually cooled downed to form continents and rain. The Earth took time to fully develop and that is why it took billions of years for our planet to be a suitable habitat for organisms. So I know that telling you about the Earth’s formation is quite a bore, diary, but I must do it or mother will yell at me. Anyway, I am going to sleep. Hopefully, I’ll have a dream about hearing that the world war is over… but then I’ll wake up and realize I am still living in this torture chamber… More tomorrow.

Sir Augustus, I do not believe you can be simply made a god. there is one almighty God, you cannot be made a god. Not possible.

Searching data banks... Well, in the future, mankind discovers the actual date of the formation of earth. However I am not programmed to disclose the classified information. As a person living in your time, I would have to agree with your scientists about this statement.

Im not a scientist but Yes i think the Earth was formed 4.6 billion years ago. New technology and more knowledge has allowed scientists to hypothesize about the history of our planet. At first it was just a big ball of gasses and then it cooled down I think and then it formed oceans and so on....... But in reality I think of the Earth as a soccer ball which I can kick in to the universal goal.

 Scientist do have what it takes like advanced computers/software, fossils, and knowledge of the inner layers of Earth.

I believe that the Earth formed 4.6 billion years ago. I trust scientist because I believe in the advancements of humans and technology. If so many scientists have tested for how old the Earth is and they come up with 4.6 billion Years old, I support it.

Maybe the earth was formed 4.6 billion years ago, maybe not. I don't see how we as humans can decide that. Its one of earth's beautiful mysteries. I'm not very religious, but at the same time I don't completely trust scientists. Sorry if I made an Little Monsters upset.

 I agree Billy. Science is like glitter, even if its not needed, it still shows up in your carpet. I don't think anyone really knows when the earth was formed.

As my father started teaching me music, he told me about how the earth formed. At the time it was a child's story about the earth forming a long time ago. Though today, I believe that the earth formed 4.6 billion years ago. I believe this because the amount of time it would take to form people and the earth itself would take a long time so 4.6 billion years sounds about right.

I greatly agree with you arnold. The scientists you ahve today are much smarter and would know more about the earth than the ones from my time.
