Charles Darwin seems to have gone a ship to the Galapagos Islands and studied different species of animals there to find some of the same species had different characteristics. I believe this led him to create his renowned theory of natural selection. I believe I would like this man, due to the fact he is wealthy and educated, seeks adventure, and pretty hardworking. Also, he is competive such as when he published his book on natural selection before the other scientist could publish his paper. But on the other hand, I don't appreciate some one who thinks that I, Emperor Augustus of the Roman Empire, came from a monkeybleh!

Darwin traveled to Galapagos Island to observe different organisms. He noticed the different variations among the same species and realized that they were adapting to the surrounding in order to survive . Darwin seemed like a pretty interesting person.  He probably had good worth ethics. However if he met me, we most likely would be friends, because he would fascinated by my height.

I never really studied Charles Darwin as a young girl, as I attended a private Catholic school, but from what I understand he was the first to publicize the concept of evolution, shaking society and what they'd believed, making them see through a new light, though the ridicule he received was less than kind. My Little Monsters weren't around then to stop the cruelty, but luckily he was passionate enough in his sci(art)ence to endure what people had to say. I like that, I think Charlie and I would've gotten along pretty well.  Also I'm pretty sure he went to some islands and studied birds and how their beaks changed in different places along there.

Birds.

I have inspiration for a new outfit.

Darwin is the guy who talks about the adaptations......animals....and traits. He is a hard working man, but he is not funnier than me. I believe Darwin has a good work ethic and is very clever. I don't think I could be friends with Darwin because I disagree with evolution, but I would love for him to watch THE COSBY SHOW. :)

From what I've heard, Charles Darwin was a man who sailed on a ship to a place called the Galapagos Islands. I believe he was a scientist who viewed the animals there and said that the birds had beak shapes specific to what they ate. Kind of like the string instruments that make different pitches depending on the size. People have told me that he got same back lash for his  magnifisent discovery. The arrogant public's opinion was unfair. If i ever had the chance to meet this Charles Darwin, I believe we would be great friends. The man is brilliant. I wonder if he knew how to play music.

Hmmm, well let's see, Mr. Charles Darwin...what do I know about Charles Darwin?! I know he was a British scientist that proposed that all living organisms came from common ancestors. He sailed to the Galapagos Islands and compared the beaks of the finches on each of the islands. He observed that each beak was different and better adapted to the food on thier islands. This led him to his theory of natural selection. With this, he wrote a paper about Evolution that he wanted published after he died, but he soon found out that another scientist was researching the same thing at the same time that Darwin researched. When Darwin heard of this, he published the paper before the other scientist. I think Darwin's work ethic was very efficient, he knew that if he didn't published his paper, he would not be credited for all of his research. I think some of the reactions toward Darwin were unfair because most insulted him and critisized him for believing his own theory. I think part of the reason they were mad was because they thought Darwin was saying that there is no god, but he wasn't. I think if I lived during Darwin's time we would be great friends, i mean I don't see why not, except for the fact i have had some bad experiences with certain British men. I feel like we have the same personality, we both know what we want and when we set out to do something, we do it.

Charles Darwin sailed on the Beagle to the Galapagos Islands as the ships intellectual, but became the naturalist when he started observing the Finches there. He eventually figured out that the shape of their beaks were altered by their surroundings and what they ate. I do wonder what it would be like to have him as a friend, but I don't want him to steal my Apple product ideas though. He seems like a good man, and I marvel at his discoveries. Maybe I can make an app about him, hmmmm...

Hehe yeah Darwin thats that dude that went to Galapagos Islands right? Man i dont know. He was probably some real nerdy dude hehe, but i bet he worked hard like me to come up with all this nonsense. I call it EVILoution (I must've stole a dictionary, cause i got A-WAY with words hehehe im to good biggrin.gif) hehe. I dont really care though because you gotta do you like in my Mountain Dew commercial teevee.gif hehe yeah i know its funny. If i lived at the same time as him id probably be friends with him cuz you know me, i gotta be friends with all the famous people like my BFF Drake here hehehe. But anyways I still love y'all! heart.gifheart.gifheart.gif

You don't have to appreciate something to accept it. His hard work was not meant to be disrespected by anyone, even an Emperor. You were born this way because of evolution. You should be thanking him for his research.

Charles Darwin coined the term "natural selection" and "evolution". As one of the best known scientists in the world, he probably was a smart, with a bit of hardworking traits in their as well. Anyways, I do not care about his theories for whatever we came from I am here now.... of course we don't learn about him here..... If i met him though I would probably put him to work on my nukes....

Darwin? Oh you mean the guy who went to the Galapagos Islands on vacation! Wait... he wasn't on vacation? Oh right, he went there and studied the size and shape differences on the Finches' beaks according to their survival needs and concluded his findings about natural selection before that Wallace guy. Sorry, I don't always get my facts right when speaking in front of crowds like this... I think Darwin was a cool guy, and he must have had a good work ethic to have stuck with discovering something that you couldn't just google on the internets! Maybe the public was a little hard on him, but I can't feel too bad. I mean, he believes in evolution! Of course I believe in Christianity so his statements will have to be refudiated. We probably wouldn't be friends. I bet he would've voted Democratic!

Charles Darwin was an outstanding guy loooong before my time period man. That brings be back to the days in high school when I learned about him and his trip to the Galapagos Islands where he learned about birds' finches and how animals of the same species have different characteristics. If I remember, I believe it was called Natural Selection. I think he was probably a cool guy who was very hardworking. I think many of the reactions about Darwin are unfair because many know he wasn't the only person to know about the theory of evolution (hint hint: Alfred Russell Wallace) but that he was the only person to publish about it first. If I lived in a time period with Charles Darwin, I would only be a colleague because I wouldn't be able to get along with him. This is because he is tone deaf (literally) and as a musician I wouldn't be able to handle hanging out with a tone deaf person for so long especially if we do karaoke disbelief!! No hard feelings man!

Darwin was a very brilliant man who studied the species of the Galapagos Islands and formulated the theory of evolution. I do believe that if I were to have ever met him, we would get along quite well. I like his undying determination and love for adventure and exploration. However, I must say, as a strong believer in morals and justice, that I do pity Alfred Wallace who was, in some ways, robbed of the fame that he deserved for his hard work, but I supose that if Darwin had not taken that small chance that was given to him to publish his novel, then it would be he that I would be pitying today. Alas, thus is the nature of all things we know and some that we don't!

Charles Darwin was a genius, a brilliant scientist, just like me. I learned a little bit about him, back in Germany, in primary school. He was a brilliant man to make such a large discovery just from a few visits to the Galapagos Islands. As a fellow scientist, I can say he made a great contribution to this world. Even if you don't believe what he hypothesized, you must at least appreciate him for making the world think in a different way.

Ohh yeah Charles Darwin! I remember learning about him! He went to like the Galapagos Islands and studied like the different types of beaks that were found within one spieces of birds. I think his work ethic was like good, but I don't remember since science was not my favorite subject. I think if I was alive while he was alive we would totally be like best friends because he would probably be the only guy who wouldn't actually break me heart!

The Chimpanzes and I have very good discussions on the topic of Charles Darwin. I know he went to the Galapagos Islands and saw how the same species had different variations of their beaks, but see me and my Chimmps are very much the same and we arent even the same species!I might disagree with him on that. We are one, they are my love and soul.  Charles Darwin would seem to be a very educated man and know a ton about nature. People seem to think his intention of Evoultuion was to say there is no God, well I am a scientist but I believe in God. Infact I think there is a connection between science and God; so this religious related satement, people assume arent always true with scientist. I dont think i would have gotten along with Charles becuase he didnt study chimps, he studied birds and honestly people ONLY care about Chimps. Birds are irrelevant, to improve his theory he shouldve observed chimps, that would have made his findings more believeable. I think that Darwin and I couldve atleast admired nature together. SAVE THE CHIMPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Charles Darwin is the dude who came up with natural selection. He observed variations among organisms and determined what the adaptations were between finches on the Galapagos Islands. He probably worked pretty dang hard all the time and was a deep thinker. I bet the guy also was quiet and thought a lot 'cause he was a man of reason. I think the reactions to his ideas were alright cause he had some pretty dang crazy ideas and everyone can have their own opinion. If we lived in the same place and time, I dont really think that we'd be friends 'cause he seems like someone who couldn't just let go and have fun.

Charles Dah'win was a great naturalist who developed the theory of natural selection. He's a great guy and works hard at what he does. Being an environmentalist/naturalist myself, we get along great. If I were alive at that That time, I would travel the world with him studying animals.

You can't say that birds are irrelivent in his Theory. They actually demonstrate the theory pretty crikey well. If he used chimps, religious people would have took it into terms that he was saying that man evolved from chimps. He worked with what he saw. You're statements are arrogant and biased since you're a chimp lover. I don't put crocs, first. I love ALL animals so im an actual naturalist. Save the chimps? What about orangutans and gibbons who are endangered?

You know... I could go back in time and meet Charles Darwin. I think he was a smart and clever man. Personality? Is this something that you humans have that us machines do not know of... hhmmm... Fair is illogical, control of the situation is what he wanted. I don't know why I would need to meet this character but I believe we could discuss how humans are inferior to all machines. Wait, he didn't have computers back then? well then i think I could have work together with him to invent early computers and make future ones more advanced. (Terminator)

I bet Charles Darwin was a hard working man. He was the guy who sailed on a boat to the Galapagos Islands and figured out all that natural selection stuff right? Yeah thats the one. You have to be pretty determined and willing to put in a lot of time to discover something as huge as that. Probably not as a big deal as winning 3 World Heavyweight Championships but pretty close. Since he beat that other loser to publication i bet hes pretty quick on his feet... just like me! So yeah me and hime would be like 2 peas in a pod . Alright i gotta go beat up some punk in my retirement home... Later.

I don't really recall much about Darwin because school wasn't my favorite thing but I do remember him being a scientist. I think he was probably a pretty decent guy although he wasn't liked for his ideas (but hey i wasn't either at first). His work ethic was outstanding from my director point of veiw. He relized he had to get his idea's and thought's out there before anyone else and made it happen. He and I would have more than likely been friends due to our unique nature and love for things normal people don't quite understand.

O yes this Charles Darwin character. I heard that he came up with the key ideas for the theory of evolution. He studied the finches on the different islands of Galapogoas. I have afeeling that he was as dedicated to his work as I am. As a person i believe he was a credible guy that may have made some fixable mistakes but i would most likely be friends with him because he is a simple man that has a good workethic. Some people automatically discredit Darwin due to a view on God and that he created all organisms, but it makes sense that God made all of the original species and their environment. He also gives us free will to change ourselves and possibly pass that on to our offspring creating evolution.

Charles Darwin went to the Galapagos Islands to study the type of species on them. He noticed that the birds on each island had different beaks then the other islands. This is where he realized that the species were adapting to the environment around them. Darwin posted his book when he learned that someone else had writen about the same this, this show that Darwin was a very sly person. I think we'd be friends, we would both change the world together.

Darwin was a clever lad that surrvied the wild lands of the Galapogos Islands and came up with natural selection. He seems like a hard working but the little wanker seems to think he's better than a look of people, eh? Back in his time me an him might have met once or twice being as we're both into nature and stuff but other than that we would probably just doing the same ol' thing.

I think i'm starting to remember. he went to the Galapagos Islands to study the different beaks of the birds. Didn't everyone think he was crazy. that just proves that if you put your mind to it you can achieve anything.biggrinbiggrin

HI BILLY MAYS HERE FOR CHARLES DARWIN. I HEARD HE TRAVELED TO THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS TO STUDY THE ANIMALS THERE. I BET YOU THAT DARWIN GUY WAS ONE HARD WORKER. YOU THINK HE EVER STAINED HIS CLOTHES? WONDER WHAT THEY USED INSTEAD OF OXICLEAN BACK THEN... BACK TO DARWIN.. YES! I THINK HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING AND HE STRIVES TO SUCCEED. JUST LIKE ME. SEEMS LIKE WE WOULD GET ALONG WELL DOESN'T IT?

Charles Darwin was a scientist who studied adaptations and evolution in the Galapagos islands. From what I know I believe he was a intelligent man trying to answer the mysteries of the time. I think that some reaction about Darwin are fair I was a little preoccupied with the war but I think I read some where that he and another scientist discovered the same thing and asked Darwin to check it over and Darwin published first taking all the credit, I would have co-published with the other scientist and maybe learn more. If I were living in the same time period as darwin I do not think we would of had a relationship together, I would have been occupied more with politics or the military.

Darwin? Ah yes I think i remember now, he's the gentleman that studied birds in the Galapagos islands. He was probably a dumb fellow and I would learn more about birds in less time. And what kind of job requires you to go half way around the world for birds. But "when in Rome" right? Anyway, his work ethic was horrible. It was nothing like the sharp broadcasts from the Channel 4 News Team. Now that's called work ethic. He took incredibly too much time and he pretty much cheated Wallace out of Publication. If the reactions are bad then that is absolutely fair. If i lived back then, no one would care about him. They would all be watching my compelling and rich news stories.

That Charles Darwin guy studided the different species on The Galapagos Island....right? And he figured out natural selection I think. He seemed pretty chill to me and really cared about his work. The reactions to him were horrible because he had good theories that people thought were crazy. Am I even talking about the right Charles? I know a lot of them. Hmm anyway he and I probably wouldn't get along. I'm not into that sciencey stuff and I'd probably be WAY too much for him. Maybe we'd have a conversation....but I wouldn't understand anything he said.

Charles Darwin, I think he is the gentleman who went to the Galapogos Islands, and had an idea about natural selection, variation, and adaptations. Despite being a hard working man, Darwin was a little selfish because he wanted all the credit to himself. This leads to why the reactions about him are fair. I think there was another scientist who also had a similar idea about natural selection but Darwin beat him. If i was living at same time as Darwin, I would probably consider him a soccer fan but never my friend. I know all this cause one of my sons is learning about this man and I gotta help my son do his h.w. so we could go play some Soccer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Charles Darwin? He was a scientist who studied finches in the Galapagos Islands. He also coined the term natural selection. I think Charles Darwin was a very curious person and had a hard work ethic. As much as I love the islands, I don't think I could study there for two years. I think the reactions to Darwin were fair considering the time period he was in. If I was in the same time as Charles Darwin, I don't think we would be friends. Maybe we could be more like associates because we both love the islands. :) He just doesn't seem like he could let go & dye our hair together.
